Paul Blainey
Professor, MIT Biological Engineering; Broad Institute faculty
Dr. Blainey trained in mathematics, chemistry, biophysics, microfluidics, and genomics before joining the Broad Institute and the Department of Biological Engineering at MIT as a faculty member in 2012. Dr. Blainey’s laboratory integrates microfluidic, molecular, imaging, and computational technologies to address new challenges in functional analysis of cells and therapeutics. He has been awarded Innovator and Career awards from Burroughs Wellcome, Agilent and the NIH.
