Parul Doshi joined Cellarity in Dec 2021 as Senior Vice President and Head of Data and Software Engineering. In this role she leads all aspects of data infrastructure, software engineering and information technology to enable the development of Cellarity’s drug discovery platform.
Parul brings broad expertise in data engineering and infrastructure as well as applications development / deployment across the entire pharma and vaccine value chain, from preclinical/clinical to tech ops/ commercial. Parul has also hands-on expertise in software engineering, having held such position earlier in her career.
Parul was most recently Head of IT & Digital for Takeda’s Global Vaccine Business Unit. In her role she was responsible for data strategy, technology and digital roadmap development and execution. She led the technology program for Dengue Vaccine launch preparedness and the pandemic vaccines – Moderna vaccine distribution in Japan and the NovaVax vaccine manufacturing at Takeda’s plant in Japan. During her tenure she championed the adoption of digital technologies developed control tower to monitor and predict manufacturing delays and implemented an AI solution to optimize drug substance allocation for the Dengue vaccine manufacturing.
Parul spent the past 16 years at Takeda, in roles of increasing seniority across several divisions of the company. As Head of IT for Oncology Business Unit she notably led the IT programs to launch oncology products NINLARO and ALUNBRIG and ARIAD Integration. Prior to Takeda, Parul worked for a few years as a consultant developer working with major companies such as Fidelity Investments and Lego.
Parul graduated with an MBA in Information Technology and Finance from Pune, and a Bachelor in Economics and Applied Statistics from the University of Rajasthan.
